The story of Lindee Corned Beef began in a small Brooklyn, NY meat market in 1969. As the demands and needs increased, Lindee Corned Beef was born. Using a generation’s old recipe and a modernized process by the grandson of the founding father, Lindee has become one of the premier manufacturers of Corned Beef.
WHAT IS CORNED BEEF?
CORNED BEEF is a salt-cured beef product. The term comes from the treatment of the meat with large-grained rock salt, also called "kerns" of salt. It originated as a way to preserve meat.
